Article 5
Honorary Membership will be conferred by the Society on persons who have retired from active posts in CIEC. They will be elected by the Assembly of Members. The Presidium will recommend to the Assembly of Members persons to be elected as Honorary Members (including Honorary Presidents). Special Meritorious Members will also be elected by the Assembly of Members. This kind of membership is reserved to those persons who have contributed in an outstanding way to the activities and benefit of the Society. A posthumours election is possible. The Presidium will recommend deserving persons to the Assembly of Members to be elected as Special Meritorious Members.
